Commodes

There are five types of standard commodes:

 

Standard 3 in 1 Commode: (Pt weight < 300lbs)
Features: adjustable height/aluminum frame/Can be used as a raised toilet seat or toilet safety frames/removable pail with lid

 

 

Standard drop arm commode (Pt weight < 300lbs)
Features: adjustable height/aluminum frame/ detachable arms. See additional coverage criteria

 

Folding commode: (Pt weight < 350 lbs) 
Features: Elongated seat/ Folds for easy storage/height 19" /aluminum frame

 

Heavy duty and/or Extra wide commode Stationary or Mobil, with or without Arms: (Pt weight > 300 lbs) Features: Seat width 24" or greater (Please indicate patient weight and required seat width if greater than 24" )
